About me and my practice
Are you struggling with something, a recent difficulty or experience carried from your past? You might feel overwhelmed, numb, stuck, tired or lost. Wanting help, but unsure how this might change, and if you are able to. Difficulties can be persistent and isolating but you don't have to face them alone, understanding and support can make all the difference.
I'm Martin, an accredited therapist who helps people to overcome anxiety, overthinking, detachment, depression, trauma, relationship issues, bereavement, loneliness, addiction, low self-esteem, ADHD and more. Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I am here to help you, every step of the way.
My counselling and psychotherapy training was integrative, rooted in the humanistic approach. This helped me to gain perspectives from a range of therapeutic approaches, including:
- Person-Centred Therapy (PCT).
- Gestalt Therapy.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
- Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
- Existential Therapy.
Experience
Therapy is a collaborative and enabling conversation, focused on your wants and needs. Ill use my experience and training to help develop our connection. Well then work, informed by theory and our experience, with what in your life might benefit from additional perspectives or deeper insight. I offer:
- Open listening, without judgement or expectation and with warmth and care.
-A supportive relationship to cultivate clarity and awareness through empathy and curiosity.
- Tools to broaden awareness, develop care, make connections and find acceptance.
- My ongoing commitment towards your wellbeing.
Before sessions begin, I'll send a summary of understanding, answers to some frequently asked questions and some testimonials.
Your challenges and the solutions to them are as unique as you are. Im keen to help you find them.
Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma in Counselling, from Heartwood Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- Certificate in Humanistic Integrative Counselling, from CPPD Counselling School.

Please schedule a free consultation for us to establish a connection. Well discuss what you are facing, my approach and any questions you have; everything is confidential, with no obligation at any time.
Fees
Sessions are 50 minutes long and can be scheduled weekly, biweekly, or as needed. My rate for in-person sessions (near Kings Cross) is £70 per session, with online and phone sessions at £60. I offer a £10 discount for those receiving income support or students.
When I Work
Mondays: From 8am until 6pm, Kings Cross
Tuesdays: Midday until 6pm, online
Wednesdays: From 10am until 6pm, online
Fridays: From 8am until 6pm, Kings Cross
